About Meadow Brook Estates

Meadow Brook Estates, a 55+ community, was designed and built by Haynes Development beginning in 2003.  The community is built on approximately 125 acres of beautifully wooded land, with small streams and rock formations interspersed throughout the community. There are 246 single family and double-unit homes built on different elevations, this creates a spectacular view of open space from each home and during peaceful walks within the development.

Gazebos spread across the community offer a certain charm to this quaint neighborhood. While a clubhouse wasn’t part of the design, so that common charges for property maintenance and services would be kept as low as possible, the gazebos provide a comfortable gathering place to rest and meet with neighbors.

A pavilion is available for use by residents, and, next to the pavilion, a bocce court.  Meadow Brook Estates has a bocce league which plays throughout the warmer months, and several other clubs meet regularly.

Neighbors can take advantage of nearby restaurants and golf courses, as well as Southford and Kettletown State Parks, and the Quarry Walk and Klarides Village shopping centers.
